Publication rules established before collection
- Eligible response
- One current-practice submission from an equipment-rental operating business. Vendors, consultants and duplicate test responses are excluded where detectable without requesting identity.
- Minimum evidence
- No report before 30 valid responses across at least three rental segments. No segment or cross-tab is published with fewer than 10 responses.
- Small-cell protection
- Cells below the threshold are suppressed or combined. Company-level rows, exact values and respondent rankings are never published.
- Representation
- Reports disclose sample size, collection dates, segment mix, company-size ranges, missing measures and known selection bias. Results describe participants, not the entire industry.
- Analysis
- Range distributions and medians are reported only where the categorical data supports them. “Not measured” remains visible as an operational finding rather than being silently removed.
- Change control
- Definitions are versioned. Responses collected under materially different formulas are not merged without an explicit reconciliation note.
Participant brief
Help build a credible rental-operations evidence base.
Invite an equipment-rental operator to contribute one range-only response. The framework covers AV, event production, lighting, staging, backline, multi-category and other equipment-rental operations.
- About 3 minutes
- 11 predefined ranges
- No contact or company identity
- No report before 30 valid responses
Data and trust boundary
- The form does not request contact or company identity, exact financials, customer information or narrative text.
- The intake stores categorical selections, methodology version, server receipt time and cohort month in a dedicated encrypted table.
- Web infrastructure may process technical connection data to deliver and protect the service, but the application response record does not store an IP address or browser identifier.
- Anonymous contribution means Operations360 cannot later identify, edit or delete one response on request.
- Raw response records are not sold, shared as a dataset or used as sales leads.
